Live performances of Manuel Göttsching are rare. In summer 2018, after a long time, it is the Northern part of Germany that has the pleasure to see “The Göttfather”, as The Guardian named him, play live. At the International Film Festival Madrid in summer this year, Patricia Vonne’s music video “Huerta de San Vicente” already won the Best Animation award. That is the second time for this song! Sad but true: Boudewijn Bonebakker, mastermind of Gingerpig, announced the end of the successful Dutch retro rockers. From him, we received the following statement: “After eight years, three released albums and a fourth in the making, Gingerpig has decided to park the band.
