„Miditerranean Pads“ ist eins der perkussivsten Alben von Klaus Schulze.

„Miditerranean Pads“ is the sensation of he year („Phlox Notes“/Netherland, May 1990)

 

Klaus hatte wieder Lust auf Schlagzeug. Nur wollte er nicht wie in den Sechzigern Schlagzeug spielen, sondern für Schlagzeug komponieren. Zum ersten Mal gab es eine akzeptable Auswahl an Drum Samples, wie japanische Trommeln, Talking Drums etc., die er in der vorliegenden wilden „Sampling Arie“ nutzte.

Eine weitere Perle aus dem riesigen Schulze Kosmos.
